In this position...

The Solutions Sales Manager will be a subject matter expert on Ford Pro's ancillary product portfolio and will be responsible for facilitating sales demos and training for assigned Ford Dealerships. These products primarily include Ford Pro Intelligence's software, Fleet Management, charging software and equipment, and productivity solutions. Successful candidates will combine software expertise and empathy for the end user to attract clients and to develop the software solution to their maximum potential. Additionally, ideal candidates will be relationship builders and partner with Ford Dealership personnel to drive additional sales activity and to develop the dealership channel. Solutions Sales Managers will be passionate about software features and sell their benefits, with the goal of meeting customer needs and enhancing the stickiness of Ford Pro vehicles and ancillary services.

In this requestion we are hiring two different positions tied to the Central Region.

Responsibilities

What you'll do...
  • Drive new Ford Pro Software and Charging opportunities through Ford Dealerships, meet with these customers, create proposals and close the business.
  • Conduct sales demonstrations to prospective customers (both in person and virtual)
  • Provide channel partner training to increase the knowledge level of sales representatives
  • Be the point of contact for new clients and Dealers
  • Stay current and knowledgeable on all Ford Pro Products and Services.
  • Utilize Salesforce as a business tool to help manage and grow your business
  • Assist with client support, as well as customer issue resolution as necessary to support a seamless, always-on experience
  • Support local dealership partners on sales opportunities within a specified territory
  • Generate leads through channel partners and close sales opportunities
  • Establish strong, positive working relationship with Ford/Lincoln Dealers and their commercial sales team
  • Manage prospecting, onboarding, and ongoing support efforts with prospective / existing customers
  • Provide voice of customer feedback on Ford Pro Products to the product development teams
  • Follow the defined Lead Management Process for documenting contact with customers
  • Create partnership with the Commercial Sales Manager within sales region
  • 75%+ travel in the region


Qualifications

You'll have...
  • Bachelors Degree Required
  • Must live within the Region
  • Minimum 5 years of field sales/service experience calling on Dealers.
  • Enthusiasm for working with commercial dealers, customers and industry partners to grow sales, market share and increase customer loyalty of Ford Pro One-Stop Shop solutions.
  • Self-starter with a can-do attitude, emotional resilience, smart work ethic, and ability to deliver results with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to build strong relationships, influence others to embrace initiatives and inspire action.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail is a critical part of this role.
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.
  • Must be able to travel up to 75% within Region.
  • Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Power Point skills are a must.

  • SSM Sales Experience Preferred
  • Software sales experience strongly preferred
  • Measured success and a proven track record in Software Sales
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of computer-based Applications, IT operations and SaaS
  • Wireless and GPS experience is an asset
  • Extensive experience with consultative selling with multiple products to offer the end user
  • Strong background in learning new software and equipment products
  • Dealership / Channel Management experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work well within and across multiple functions
  • Strong personal drive and competitive spirit to succeed in the marketplace
  • Desire to do what is right for the customer
  • Sales / service customer contract experience
  • Salesforce software utilization, preferred

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $112,680-212,760.

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
