Position Title: Sr Health & Safety Manager

Location: Remote (Virginia)

Your Role

As a Senior Health & Safety Manager, you will help drive a positive safety culture across the organization by supporting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of health and safety programs, policies, and compliance initiatives. Working closely with operational teams, contractors, and international stakeholders, you will help ensure the highest standards of health and safety across data center operations, support risk management activities, maintain key certifications, and contribute to incident prevention and continuous improvement efforts.

What You'll Do
  • Support the deployment and ongoing management of the organization's Health & Safety management framework in alignment with corporate strategy and standards.
  • Partner with regional Health & Safety teams to promote consistency of processes, programs, and best practices.
  • Provide Health & Safety guidance for risk identification, assessment, and mitigation across operational and construction-related activities.
  • Assist in developing and implementing Health & Safety improvement initiatives and action plans.
  • Support the creation and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure safety performance and program effectiveness.
  • Participate in incident and accident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action development.
  • Prepare and support internal and external audits, compliance reviews, reports, and certification activities.
  • Engage with contractors, suppliers, and general contractors to drive safety performance and continuous improvement.
  • Support the implementation of safe systems of work and ensure emergency response procedures remain current and effective.
  • Travel to operational sites as needed to support Health & Safety initiatives, audits, inspections, and stakeholder engagement.


What You'll Need

Qualifications
  • Degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
  • Valid professional Health & Safety certification.
  • Proven experience in Health & Safety management within a complex operational environment.
  • Experience supporting audits, compliance programs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in data centers, high-voltage environments, construction, or other related industries is preferred.
  • Multi-site operational experience is preferred.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • IOSH membership (or local equivalent) and progress toward Chartered status (or local equivalent) preferred.

Skills
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, risk assessment methodologies, and incident investigation practices.
  • Excellent planning, organization, and project coordination skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities with experience using data to identify trends and drive improvements.
  • Ability to prepare reports, manage documentation, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused in fast-paced or high-pressure situations.
  • Strong coaching and collaboration skills when working with contractors, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and standard business applications.
  • Highly motivated with a continuous improvement mindset and commitment to safety excellence.

Our published pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and geographical location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. Moreover, an employee's total compensation package varies by role and may include salary, cash bonus or commissions, and equity awards not quantified below.

Compensation range: $132,000 - 179,700 annually. This compensation range represents the Company's good faith belief as to what it will pay as a base salary for this position at the time of this posting.
