Job Description:Open Sky is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Manager to provide clinical leadership and oversight of nursing services across our Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and Autism Services division. This role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered nursing care while supporting positive health outcomes, regulatory compliance, and the professional development of nursing staff. The Nurse Manager works collaboratively with program leaders, healthcare providers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote health, wellness, safety, and community integration for the individuals we serve.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to nursing staff while promoting evidence-based and person-centered care practices.
- Oversee nursing assessments, care planning, health monitoring, documentation, and coordination of care to ensure quality outcomes and regulatory compliance.
- Lead staff development efforts including coaching, performance management, competency assessment, training, recruitment, and retention initiatives.
- Monitor compliance with DDS, DPH, MAP, Medicaid, Medicare, accreditation, and other regulatory requirements while supporting quality improvement and risk management activities.
- Partner with healthcare providers, families, guardians, and program teams to coordinate services, support transitions of care, and address complex healthcare needs.
- Oversee Medication Administration Program (MAP) compliance, provide training as needed, and manage medication occurrence reporting and corrective action planning.
Qualifications:- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts and bachelor's degree in nursing required.
- Five years of nursing experience, including supervisory or leadership experience.
- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and/or behavioral health needs preferred.
- Knowledge of DDS, DPH, MAP, and related regulatory requirements.
- Current BLS certification, valid driver's license, and strong leadership and communication skills.
Pay Range:$49.65-$55.81/Hr.
