Full Job Description
Summary of Position:

The DC Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing, and dispatch of material for all Data Center projects. They ensure that productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes run smoothly and promptly, while meeting quality, health, and safety standards. They are responsible for leading a team of Inventory Specialists and/or Material Coordinators.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and manage the logistics, transportation, and customer services
  • Direct, optimize, and coordinate full order cycle
  • Initiate and implement processes and procedural improvement for both operations and field personnel to follow to ensure consistency
  • Examine levels of current supplies, excess materials, and current market shortages across the country to reduce inventory write-offs, unusable product, and over-ordering
  • Identify and provide resolutions for inconsistencies and discrepancies
  • Analyze and prepare inventory reports

  • Coordinate regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits

  • Travel to other MP locations to train new inventory personnel
  • Supervise, coach, and train inventory department workforce
  • Follow all company safety regulations when using equipment

  • Safety training as required by position
  • Paperwork filing and maintenance as needed
  • Other duties as assigned


Essential Education and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Record of successful distribution and logistics management
  • Understanding of materials used in construction or specific project
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead others
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications

  • Strong interpersonal skills. Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Valid Drivers License
