Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in backend or data-focused engineering roles
• Proficient in clean SQL and Python
• Hands-on experience with relational databases, especially Postgres
• Experience designing schemas and building data models for business logic
• Familiarity with DBT or similar transformation frameworks
• Strong knowledge of data validation and quality assurance
• Familiar with Infrastructure as Code tools like Pulumi or AWS CDK

Responsibilities

• Own the reliability and scalability of database infrastructure across Postgres and ClickHouse
• Build and maintain scalable, reliable data pipelines for analytics and reporting needs
• Design analytical schemas, translating business logic into intuitive data models
• Migrate data from Postgres to ClickHouse while ensuring performance
• Develop and maintain DBT models for data accessibility
• Implement data quality checks and tests for trustworthy datasets
• Identify and eliminate duplicates and enforce clean data modeling standards
