Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Database Engineer to support the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) program within the Operations & Sustainment (O&S) Product Support / Logistics team. The role focuses on the development, maintenance, and enhancement of SLICwave Life Cycle (SLICwave LC)-an enterprise-wide relational database used for Integrated Product Support (IPS) and logistics management in aerospace, defense, and manufacturing. Key Responsibilities - Logistics Product Data (LPD) Support - Partner with the LPD team to develop Logistics Support Analyses (LSA), Logistics Product Data, and Logistics Operational Risk Analyses (LORA) for government deliverables. - Cataloging & Provisioning - Create and maintain catalog and provisioning data, interpreting technical data packages and engineering drawings to ensure accurate product representation. - GEIA-STD-007 Reporting - Generate and manage GEIA-STD-007 compliance reports and provisioning Bills of Materials to support O&S activities. - Cross-Functional Architecture Integration - Work directly with hardware and software engineers to review system architecture inputs, ensuring SLICwave accurately reflects supply chain, line-replaceable units (LRUs), and field-spare requirements.
