Database Administrator (SQL Server / SAP HANA)
Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Database Administrator (SQL Server / SAP HANA) for JBS that reports onsite at our Corporate Office in Greeley, Colorado.
We are seeking a skilled Senior Database Administrator (DBA) with 2-5 years of experience to support Microsoft SQL Server and SAP HANA environments across development, test, and production systems.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain development, test and production databases of MS SQL, and HANA Databases.
- Ability to configure and trouble shoot issues on Always On Technologies - Mirroring, Replication, Log Shipping and Availability groups
- Familiarity with Windows Failover clusters
- Experience on SQL Server Replication: Bi-directional, merge and Troubleshooting skills.
- Setup the HSR on HANA & Familiarity with Failover and Failback
- Maintain security policies at database level and instance level.
- Schedule and perform different backups based on business needs on MS SQL Server, and HANA.
- Ability to configure and trouble shoot issues on SQL Server Replication, Mirroring and Dataguard and Standby.
- Manage backups at enterprise level backup tools such as CommVault, Tivoli, HP StoreOnce
- Perform refreshes from PROD to DEV and UAT systems.
- Configure and schedule maintenance jobs.
- Setup SQL Agent alerts for DB Level and OS level.
- Documentation creation for problem resolution, daily maintenance, backup and recovery, and configuration management.
- Performance tuning SQL Statements
- Performance Issue Analysis
- SQL server job administration, Linked Servers, Log review, DB refreshes, moving databases between servers, user's setup
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of DBA experience
- SAP ERP/S4HANA support, Azure familiarity, HANA Cockpit, Solution Manager, and PowerShell scripting.
- SQL Server administration experience
- SAP HANA DBA experience
- High Availability/Disaster Recovery technology experience
- Backup and recovery experience
- Strong Knowledge of Windows & Linux Operating Systems
- Familiar with configuration of monitoring tools such as Foglight for Oracle & SQL Server
- Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
- Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
- Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;

- Base salary range of [$80,000-$100,000];
- Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company's annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and

The posted salary range represents the Company's good faith estimate of the compensation that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, tenure, internal equity, market data, and may vary accordingly.
