Qualifications

• Exposure to commodities trading environment and market data sources
• 2+ years of basic Python scripting or development expertise
• 2+ years of SQL experience and knowledge of database technologies like Oracle RDBM, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL
• Demonstrated technical writing skills in a professional setting
• Effective communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders
• Degree in Business, Finance, MIS, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Liaise with development teams to ensure data access and management meet business needs
• Develop and implement data quality processes for accuracy and trustworthiness
• Curate and validate the data catalogue, including metadata and obsolete data
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to create intuitive data naming rules
• Lead onboarding processes for new data elements with data acquisition teams
• Develop and maintain access rules and user groups for data management
• Classify data as restricted, regulated, or public per relevant contracts
• Participate in developing data policies around retention, privacy, and usage
• Support data asset validation and reporting compliance with business processes
