Job Description/Preferred QualificationsWe are seeking a highly motivated
Data Scientist with hands-on experience developing solutions in
Palantir Foundry. This role is ideal for someone with
2+ years of direct Foundry development experience and
no more than 5 years of total professional experience in analytics, data science, or data engineering.
The successful candidate will work directly with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges, gather requirements, translate business processes into Foundry solutions, and develop scalable analytics, applications, and AI-enabled workflows. This individual must be comfortable working independently, driving discussions with business partners, and delivering solutions from concept to deployment.
- Partner directly with business stakeholders to gather, document, and refine business requirements.
- Translate business processes and operational needs into scalable Palantir Foundry solutions.
- Design and develop Foundry-native applications using Workshop, enabling business users to interact with data, workflows, and operational processes.
- Develop and maintain Foundry pipelines, Ontology objects, Code Repositories, Workshop applications, and operational workflows.
- Build analytical models, dashboards, and data products that enable business decision-making.
- Support AI and machine learning use cases within the Foundry ecosystem.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business users, IT, data engineers, and other Foundry developers.
- Perform data validation, troubleshooting, testing, and root cause analysis.
- Drive projects independently while effectively managing stakeholder expectations and timelines.
- Create and maintain technical and functional documentation.
- Promote best practices for data governance, solution design, and Foundry development.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on Palantir Foundry development experience.
- Maximum 5 years of total professional experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience building data pipelines, transformations, and operational applications in Foundry.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
- Experience using Python for data analysis, automation, or machine learning.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and business process transformation.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and requirements gathering skills.
- Ability to convert ambiguous business problems into technical solutions.
Base Pay Range: $110,000.00 - $187,000.00 Annually
