What You Will Do:
Apply strong technical skills and a mission‑focused mindset to understand client needs, identify opportunities, and design solutions for Federal clients. Leverage tools such as Python, SQL, LLMs and platforms such as Databricks to develop data science products and solutions. Communicate clearly to translate technical findings for both technical and non‑technical audiences, including leadership. Engage directly with clients to gather requirements, adapt solutions to mission needs, and drive initiatives forward. Support internal initiatives and business development including RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses and white papers.
What You Will Need:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance.
Bachelor’s degree
THREE (3) or more years of relevant professional experience.
Experience in connecting data sources and wrangling data using Python.
Strong understanding of statistical and machine learning (ML) methods.
Experience utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering.
Experience in developing and deploying AI/ML models using Python.
Familiarity with Databricks platform for conducting data science.
Experience performing data science in a cloud environment, such as Azure or AWS.
Ability to support remote, hybrid, or on-site projects in the Washington D.C. metro area.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
SIX (6) years of relevant professional experience.
Ability to learn new software tools.
Ability to work independently, proactively identify opportunities to add value to the client, and drive initiatives and innovation.
Ability to clearly communicate and present technical solutions, insights, and results to technical and non-technical audiences, including leadership
Experience working in Databricks.
Proficiency in querying and wrangling data using SQL.
Experience with Natural Language Processing.
Experience with RAG methods and development.
Experience containerizing AI/ML models, such as with Docker.
Experience designing and developing ETL/ELT data pipelines.
Experience developing data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI or Tableau.
Experience developing solutions involving APIs.
Experience automating processes using Power Automate.
Experience supporting Department of State or other Federal Government organizations.
