What You Will Do:Apply strong technical skills and a mission-focused mindset to understand client needs, identify opportunities, and design data-driven solutions. Leverage tools such as Python to develop analytics and data science products. Communicate clearly to translate technical findings for both technical and non-technical audiences, including leadership. Engage directly with clients to gather requirements, adapt solutions to mission needs, and drive initiatives forward.
What You Will Need:- Active SECRET or higher security clearance.
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field is required
- THREE (3) or more years of relevant professional experience is required.
- Experience in conducting data science using a programming language, Python preferred.
- Experience with Agile team operations, such as sprint planning, standup calls, writing Jira stories, backlog refinement, etc.
- Ability to support remote, hybrid, or on-site projects in the Washington D.C. metro area.
What Would Be Nice To Have:- FOUR (4) years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience working in Databricks.
- Ability to work independently, proactively identify opportunities to add value to the client, and drive initiatives and innovation.
- Ability to clearly communicate and present technical solutions, insights, and results to technical and non-technical audiences, including leadership.
- Experience performing data engineering, such as Extract-Transform-Load (ETL), managing databases, etc.
- Experience working with data cataloging and metadata.
- Experience working with APIs.
- Experience visualizing data and building dashboards using tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Ability to support business development, including RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses and white papers.
- Relevant experience supporting the Department of State or other Federal Government organizations.
