Responsibilities

What you'll be able to do:

Data Scientist - positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, Michigan). Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the aforementioned worksite. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance from the worksite. Drive improvements in Ford's supply chain operations through big data analysis and modeling. Develop innovative tools that translate complex data into actionable insights for key stakeholders. Leverage cutting-edge technologies to support more informed decision-making. Leverage advanced data analytics and the latest tools to solve complex business problems, improve operational efficiency, and make data-driven decisions that impact the future of the company. Extract actionable insights from data. Extract, clean, and transform data in large, complex, nested databases. Utilize programming languages in a cloud platform. Perform research, analysis, data science and solution development. Execute digital transformation projects to improve supply chain operations. Deliver tangible value for customers and stakeholders through data-driven insights and solutions.

Qualifications

You'll have...

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field and 6 months of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. 6 months of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. Utilizing programming languages including Python or R for data analysis and model development. 2. Communicating complex statistical and technical topics and data-driven insights effectively to non-technical users. Education and/or experience must include: 1. Utilizing SQL for data processing and analysis, including extracting, cleaning, and transforming data in large, complex databases. 2. Extracting actionable insights from data by designing and developing machine-learning-driven predictive models, including time-series forecasting and causal inference testing. 3. Applying ANOVA, Bayesian statistical analysis, regression principles, and statistical techniques for data analysis. 4. Developing and managing data visualizations and dashboards using tools including Python libraries Matplotlib and Seaborn.

We are offering a salary of $66,102.00 - $186,624.00/yr.
