As the Data Management & Governance Analyst, you will support the organization in delivering high-quality, reliable data to stakeholders by assisting with data governance, data quality, and data management practices. This role contributes to ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and usability, while supporting data-related processes and initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will be skilled at data analysis, problem solving, and identifying data issues, with the ability to translate findings into clear insights.

Data Management and Governance Analyst role.
What You'll Do- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support data governance initiatives, including data quality and data management activities.
- Use qualitative and quantitative data to identify data issues, trends, and inconsistencies.
- Support development and maintenance of data definitions, business rules, and data standards.
- Perform data quality checks and validation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data.
- Assist in identifying and remediating data issues in partnership with business, analytics, and data teams.
- Participate in data governance processes, including documentation, metadata, and data lineage activities.
- Support user acceptance testing for data-related changes, including new data sources, metrics, and reporting outputs.
- Create and maintain documentation for data processes, definitions, and governance practices.
- Support resolution of data-related problems impacting reporting and analytics.
- Provide support to stakeholders to ensure data is understood and used effectively.
What You'll Bring- Bachelor's Degree required
- 3+ years of data analytics, data management, or related experience required
- Experience within a healthcare organization preferred
- Experience identifying data requirements and working with stakeholders to clarify data needs
- Experience performing data validation and supporting reporting processes
- Experience supporting testing efforts (e.g., UAT)
- Experience working with large datasets
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical aptitude
- Ability to identify trends, anomalies, and data issues
- Advanced skills with Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools (Qlik, Tableau, Power BI)
- Ability to analyze datasets within tight timelines
- Ability to connect qualitative and quantitative data to support insights
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 annually. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
For individuals living in Washington or Colorado: Premise offers the following paid time off benefits. Employees will earn 0.0692 hours of paid time off per actual hours worked or based on standard schedule, per pay period, and will receive 10 paid holidays or an equivalent bank of hours aligned to schedule throughout the calendar year. Paid sick leave is satisfied by the paid time off accrual, detailed above.
