Description

URM Stores, Inc. is looking for a Data Integrations Manager to lead URM's enterprise-wide data movement across applications, systems, platforms, and trading partners. This role owns integration delivery, integration operations, platform modernization, and technical team leadership. The role is accountable for secure, supportable, observable, and reusable integration patterns using Boomi, EDI, Azure Integration Services, Logic Apps, message bus architectures, Pub/Sub models, DB2, Snowflake, dbt, Python, and Prefect.

Integration Strategy and Governance:
• Define and execute the enterprise integration roadmap in partnership with architecture, applications, data, and business teams.
• Establish standards for Boomi, Azure Integration Services, Logic Apps, API integrations, EDI, Pub/Sub models, message bus patterns, error handling, documentation, monitoring, and support readiness.
• Reduce brittle point-to-point dependencies by promoting reusable, decoupled, and governed integration patterns.
• Ensure integration solutions follow security, compliance, data governance, and operational risk expectations.

Delivery and Portfolio Management:
• Own intake, prioritization, planning, delivery, and release coordination for integration initiatives and enhancement requests.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of integrations across enterprise applications, ERP, WMS, POS, vendor systems, cloud platforms, Snowflake, DB2, and member services.
• Manage integration backlog, capacity, dependencies, risks, escalation paths, and stakeholder communication.
• Drive use of Python, Prefect, dbt, automation, and AI-assisted development to improve delivery speed and repeatability.

Operational Excellence:
• Improve reliability, monitoring, alerting, runbooks, incident response, root-cause analysis, and supportability of integration services.
• Define operating metrics for integration health, incident trends, delivery cycle time, manual effort reduction, and platform adoption.
• Partner with Infrastructure, Security, Application, and Data teams to ensure integrations are resilient and aligned with enterprise architecture.

People and Vendor Leadership:
• Lead, coach, and develop integration developers, engineers, contractors, and offshore resources.
• Support hiring, performance management, training plans, standards adoption, and workload planning.
• Manage vendor and partner delivery expectations where integrations are supported by external resources.

Required Qualifications:
• Eight or more years of experience in enterprise integration, data integration, middleware, EDI, API delivery, data engineering, or related technical roles.
• Three or more years leading technical teams, projects, or integration delivery portfolios.
• Strong experience with Boomi or comparable iPaaS platforms.
• Experience with Azure Integration Services, including Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus or message bus patterns, API Management, Functions, or comparable services.
• Strong hands-on EDI experience and understanding of B2B integration and trading partner connectivity.
• Strong understanding of Publish/Subscribe models, event-driven architecture, queue-based processing, and message bus implementations.
• Strong SQL and database integration experience with DB2, Snowflake, or comparable data platforms.
• Experience with Python, Prefect, dbt concepts, orchestration, automation, or pipeline delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience modernizing legacy integrations into scalable enterprise integration platforms.
• Experience with ERP, WMS, POS, retail, grocery, or wholesale distribution environments.
• Experience integrating with IBM i/AS400, DB2 for i, Snowflake, vendor systems, and cloud applications.
• Experience implementing reusable integration standards, templates, observability, DevOps practices, and CI/CD.
• Experience applying AI-assisted development, automation, and reusable patterns to improve integration delivery.
