JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a key member of our team, you will develop and automate analytical tools and data workflows that directly support the engineering, design, sales, and manufacturing in our chiller business across North America. You will join a team that is expanding its capabilities in Analytics, Machine Learning, and AI. In this role, you will collaborate with subject matter experts across engineering and manufacturing to build data products that enable the development of new, high-efficiency products worldwide.

• Apply critical thinking to translate design, engineering, product support, and manufacturing requirements into supporting tools.
• Continuously improve engineering analytics capabilities through improved workflow efficiency, automation, documentation, and enhancements.
• Partner with IT teams to scale and deploy models, analytical tools, and AI.
• Develop and deploy new analytic capabilities through ML techniques or AI to solve engineering related problems with Product Development, Product Design, or External Customers.
• Communicate value of analytics opportunities to leadership and stakeholders.
• Lead projects with cross functional teams to develop and maintain analytic workflows and visualizations.

• Collaborate with Engineering Technology Center and Advanced Concept and Capability partners to coordinate work and changes.
• Basic knowledge of statistics and ability to interpret statistical analysis.
• Monitors data sets in production to ensure consistency of data feeding production models.
• Develop data knowledge, documentation and capabilities of the organization by serving as a consultant to other functions.

PHYSICAL EFFORT:

ADDITIONALREQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent degree.

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in a data and analytics role, preferably for data engineering or data analytics.

• Experience with Solving Problems through automation.
• Experience with agile methodology and concepts required.
• Experience with Dataiku, Tableau, Oracle Business Intelligence, Rapid Miner, Azure BI, Google Cloud Products (Big Query), or other analytics tools.
• Experience with AI tools such as Azure AI Foundry, or Vertex AI is preferred.
• Knowledge of Product Definition and Configuration concepts preferred.
• Ability to travel. Expected travel time ~ 5%
