Position Summary

The Consumer Operations Data Analysis & Reporting Team is seeking a Data Engineer with a winning track record in building high performing data and analytical solutions that transform, integrate, and meet various data demands from internal business lines. In this position, you will leverage advanced analytics and big data techniques to derive valuable insights from enterprise data sources and deliver those insights back to the stakeholders. You will source, filter, join, parse, and normalize data sets and work to appropriately design effective ingestion mechanisms. Growth in this position includes learning to develop dynamic visualizations based on our business line's requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Extract, filter, join, parse data into normalized data sets for a variety of consumer products and services.
  • Design, build, and perfect Alteryx workflows to meet business requirements.
  • Automate repetitive processes and enhance data processing efficiency.
  • Integrate data from various sources and ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
  • Find opportunities to streamline business processes and implement best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Alteryx workflows or integrations.
  • Create detailed documentation for workflows and other business processes.

Required Skills/Experience:
  • Strong background in data analysis, process automation, and experience in using Alteryx to solve complex business problems.
  • Strong skills querying databases (Redshift, SQL)
  • Experience developing data sets for tools like Tableau
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Effective communication skills to explain complex workflows to non-technical business partners.
  • Alteryx Designer Core or Advanced Certification
  • In-depth understanding of data integration, transformation, and automation.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in support of complex solutions.

Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Experience scripting with Python, PowerShell, Bash
  • Ability to extract data from API's or Non structured files

Education:
  • BS in Mathematics, Economics, Information Management, Statistics, or Computer Science

Hours & Work Schedule
  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday
  • Location: 4 day on site Hybrid/Johnston RI


Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $87,000 - $122,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience.
