The Mgr Information Services is a professional who embraces the "art of the possible" and leads by empowering the team. The Mgr Information Services is responsible for talent development, leading community of practice teams and ensuring quality delivery of technical solutions that bring value to the enterprise.

The ideal candidate will live within driving distance of the Omaha, Nebraska office. This position allows remote flexibility but will have 2 days per week in the office.

What you'll do:

Own Enterprise Data Integration Delivery
  • Oversee design and delivery of scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and related services
  • Ensure reliable ingestion, transformation, and distribution of enterprise data across domains
  • Drive standardization of ingestion frameworks, reusable patterns, and metadata-driven pipelines


Engineer API-First Solutions
  • Lead development and governance of enterprise API frameworks (REST, event-driven, microservices, APIM)
  • Define standards for API design, versioning, security, and lifecycle management
  • Enable domain teams to consume and publish APIs through reusable and self-service models


Advance AI-Driven Development Practices
  • Promote use of AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, DB Genie code, automated testing tools) to improve developer productivity
  • Drive adoption of AI-assisted code generation, documentation, and quality enforcement
  • Identify opportunities to embed AI into integration workflows and API usage patterns


Enable Platform Modernization
  • Support transition from legacy integration patterns to modern Azure-based architectures
  • Partner with platform engineering teams on CI/CD, DevOps, and infrastructure automation
  • Drive adoption of scalable, cloud-native integration patterns


Ensure Operational Excellence
  • Own SLO/SLA for data delivery, API performance, and system reliability
  • Implement monitoring, observability, and proactive issue resolution strategies
  • Manage incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement


Partner Across the Enterprise
  • Collaborate with business, analytics, and product teams to align integration strategy with business priorities
  • Work with security and governance teams to ensure compliance and data protection
  • Support vendor partnerships and external integrations


To be considered for this position, you must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's preferred)

The strongest candidates for this position will also possess:
  • Experience with healthcare or regulated industries (HIPAA, data governance)
  • Exposure to knowledge graphs, FHIR/HL7 integration, or advanced data platforms
  • Track record of driving platform simplification and standardization
  • Passion for automation, self-service enablement, and developer experience
