About the Role:

As a CBRE Data Analyst, you will perform basic analysis to ensure that recommendations and business conclusions are backed by thorough data research and findings.This job is part of the Data Science & Analytics job function. They are responsible for reviewing data that supports improving effectiveness and predicting outcomes to develop business intelligence.

What You'll Do:
• Use SQL and other scripting languages to develop and maintain complex queries that pull and curate data from multiple sources
• Develop and maintain data dashboards and associated assets including scripts, tables, workflows, and supporting processes in accordance with team standards
• Apply fundamental data structures and algorithms to solve complex problems
• Define basic data requirements and gather information using judgment and statistical tests.
• Use programming and evaluation tools (e.g. Python), including open-source programs to plan models and extract insights.
• Apply modeling and optimization methods to improve business performance.
• Develop and maintain data models, data automation systems, low-code solutions, and reporting systems and performance metrics support.
• Develop ad-hoc reporting based on the review of existing data sources.
• Exhibit rigor, judgment, and ability to present a detailed 'data story' to a business line.
• Confirm the quality and integrity of existing data sources.
• Collaborate with the agile development team to provide recommendations and communications on enhancing existing or new processes and programs.
• Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Impact the quality of your own work.
• Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.

What You'll Need:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field with up to 1-4 years of relevant experience
• In-depth experience with SQL, data visualization tools, ETL pipelines, and database management systems
• Strong programming skills, with experience in Python, utilizing it for data analysis and evaluation tasks.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Data Analyst is $90,000 annually [or $43.27 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Data Analyst is $105,000 annually [or $50.48 per hour] . The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
