Job Description Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust security systems that protect our organization's IT infrastructure from potential threats and vulnerabilities. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and the latest security technologies.

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities
  • The Security Architect is principally responsible for researching, designing, and integrating information security solutions and controls across the enterprise in a way that is transparent to end users, supports executive strategies, and fundamentally ensures the security of the information Focus is entrusted to protect.
  • Conducting industry research on new and emerging security technologies in support of enhancing and maintaining evolving corporate strategies to ensure that security solutions will exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, appropriate reusability and reliability.
  • The Security Architect will be responsible for security architecture, review internal and external IT projects and applications for risk and adherence to security policies, standards, and industry best practices. Must define, document and design secure infrastructure and application architectures within the primary tenants of Availability, Integrity and Confidentiality.
  • Drive and implement key security strategies within the 90+ Focus Financial Partners firms designed to protect disparate environments world-wide from threats.
  • Partner with and provide information security expertise to the Focus Financial Partners firms. Asses current risks and document their existing security controls.
  • Review, assess and signoff on business projects with respect to risk and adherence to security policies, standards, and industry best practices for data protection of Company and client data.
  • Perform analyses of IT security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and areas for improvement. This involves examining every aspect of the system's architecture, configurations, and protocols to uncover hidden flaws, and assessing the effectiveness of existing security measures.
  • End-to-End enterprise-wide tier III troubleshooting of network, desktop, server (hardware & software) and application performance & connectivity as it relates to Information Security. Participate in Incident Response Teams (IRT) as necessary by providing tier III support to mitigate active security incidents.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on security architecture and design.
  • Must have extensive experience in deploying and securing environments, specifically with solutions related to Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), identity management, email protection, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), and leveraging Managed Security Service Providers (MSSP). This includes a deep understanding of the intricacies involved in setting up and maintaining these solutions, ensuring robust security measures are in place, and effectively managing identities across various platforms.
  • Must have experience securing cloud environments such as AWS and Azure
  • Experience with API Gateways and other common web application technologies is preferred
  • Experience with assessment, development, implementation, integration, optimization, and documentation of a comprehensive and broad set of security technologies and processes
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise security concepts/frameworks and products, secure design principles and best practices
  • Familiarity with top security frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS Benchmarks, ISO 27000 series, COBIT, etc.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Must be able to quickly and succinctly architect and create technical solution documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


This position is an exempt position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $150,000 - $185,000base salary compensation range. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k). Please note that the job title is subject to change based on the selected candidate's experience and education.
