Job Description:
As a Cybersecurity Engineer at Parsons, you will play a key role in designing and implementing robust security solutions for mission-critical systems supporting the Department of War and United States Army. You’ll be part of a diverse team of 500 professionals working in Aberdeen Proving Ground and Edgewood, Maryland, advancing Army modernization and national defense through a variety of initiatives spanning 5 years and a total value of more than $600 million. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, proactive in identifying and mitigating cyber risks, and committed to leveraging emerging technologies to protect vital infrastructure and support the warfighter.
Design, develop, and evaluate cybersecurity solutions and architectures to protect information systems and networks.
Implement and monitor security controls, policies, and procedures in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and recommend mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity measures into system designs and operational processes.
Support the development and execution of test plans, including the evaluation of new technologies and security features.
Ensure compliance with DoD and industry cybersecurity standards and frameworks.
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, and best practices in cybersecurity engineering.
Bachelor’s to Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science, or equivalent.
Must possess a minimum of 3–10+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity engineering.
Active TS/SCI is required.

Security Clearance Requirement:

Salary Range: $103,500.00 - $181,100.00
