Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity and IT support.
• Recognized certifications: CISSP, CISM, Security+, or equivalent.
• Deep understanding of NIST security frameworks and controls.
• Experience with IAM, RBAC, PAM, and MFA systems.
• Proficiency in cloud security for AWS and Azure environments.
• Strong background in incident response and vulnerability management.
• Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise cybersecurity engineering for the Congressional Budget Office.
• Implement and enforce NIST SP 800-53 security controls.
• Configure IAM, RBAC, PAM, and MFA security measures.
• Conduct continuous monitoring using SIEM, EDR, and XDR technologies.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation processes.
• Manage incident response, including triage, containment, and data forensics.
• Develop and maintain security documentation and standard operating procedures.
