Full Job Description
Leidos' Defense Sensors Sensor Research Analysis Division is seeking a talented Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to provide solutions to ensure compliance with the DoD RMF Framework for systems in development while maintaining continued functionality. Primary Responsibilities • Support documentation and assessment processes to meet government cybersecurity standards. • Support external test and risk reduction events, implement STIGs for systems and assist system owners in addressing items on a POA&M. • Support multiple tasks in parallel • Productively contribute in and lead team engagements • Communicate effectively to management, coworkers, and customers. • Must show willingness to expand technical expertise to increase the impact of contributions across the team and client mission. • Utilize best practices and methods for monitoring, auditing, and measuring risk, compliance, and assurance efforts. Ensuring risk, compliance, and assurance efforts conform to DoD security, resilience, and dependability requirements at the software application, system, and network levels. • Documenting preliminary or residual security risks for system operation & manage and finalize Accreditation Packages. Basic Qualifications • High School diploma, GED or technical degree plus 4 -8 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity and IT related areas. • Must have CompTIA Security+ certification • Must have a foundational understanding of cybersecurity with the ability to develop and maintain a Risk Management Framework authorization package. • Must possess familiarity with DoD STIG requirements, RMF, IAVM's • Must have familiarity with Cybersecurity assessment tools such as ACAS, Nessus, SCC, STIG Viewer. • Experience administrating Linux and Windows operating systems. • Must be a resident of Huntsville, AL or willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area. • Must be a US citizen, possess and maintain an active Secret Clearance.
