Springfield, Virginia.Compensation & Benefits:$110,000-$118,000. Pay commensurate with experience.

Cybersecurity Operations Specialist III Responsibilities Include:- Under broad direction, operates and manages all aspects of Information Systems, data availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and non-repudiation.
- Implements and monitors security measures for communication systems, networks, and provide advice that systems and personnel adhere to established security standards and Governmental requirements for security on these systems.
- Develops and executes security policies, plans, and procedures; designs and implements data network security measures; operates Network Intrusion Detection and Forensics; conducts performance analysis of Information Systems security incidents; develops Continuity of Operation (COOP)/Disaster Recovery (DR) plans and supports certification of Information Systems and Networks.
- Supervises operation of Electronic Key Management System, other information security duties, and Public Key Infrastructure.
- Operates Host Based Security System (HBSS), firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, other point of presence security tools, Virtual Private Networks, and related security operations.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Cybersecurity Operations Specialist III Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:- Current TS/SCI security clearance
- Must meet one of the following:
- High School Diploma and minimum of ten (10) years of related experience
- Associates Degree and minimum of eight (8) years of related experience
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum of six (6) years of related experience
- Master's Degree and minimum of four (4) years of experience
- Ability to develop new concepts and processes.
- Ability to analyze root causes and resolve issues.
- Ability to support junior level technicians and specialists in their activities.
- Ability to perform all tasks of lower level technicians or specialists.
- Ability to work individually, actively participate on integrated teams, and lead a task, project or team.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
