Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant experience, or 5 years of experience without degree.
• DoD 8570.01-M IASAE Level II certification (CISSP, CSSLP, etc.) required.
• Preferably skilled in at least one scripting or programming language.
• Experience in vulnerability assessment and risk management across systems and applications.
• Knowledge of scanning solutions like OWASP or Tenable is advantageous.
• Familiarity with DoD security regulations and frameworks such as NIST and RMF.

Responsibilities

• Support secure architecture and design for DoD systems per DoDI 8510.01 and NIST SP 800-53.
• Lead the integration of RMF activities into existing systems development lifecycle processes.
• Develop and maintain system security plans and risk assessments.
• Apply STIGs and evaluate compliance with various security tools.
• Maintain vulnerability scanning infrastructure and address identified risks.
• Assist in system authorization and incident response efforts.
• Contribute to security automation and forensic analysis as needed.
