Work you'll do

As a Physical Security Manager on the Deloitte Cyber Defense & Resilience team, you will be responsible for:
  • Leading physical security advisory and implementation engagements by translating business objectives, operational priorities, and enterprise risks into security strategies, roadmaps, policies, standards, procedures, and operating model improvements
  • Conducting physical security risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, threat evaluations, and gap assessments, and advising clients on mitigation strategies and security enhancements
  • Advising clients on security operations, investigations, emergency preparedness, crisis response, business continuity support, and Global Security Operations Center workstreams, including monitoring, alarm response, incident management, threat intelligence, and crisis communications
  • Assessing physical security technologies, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, visitor management, mass communication, dispatching, and integrated security platforms, and supporting security planning for construction, renovation, and facility enhancement projects
  • Developing executive-ready reports, risk assessments, security metrics, operating procedures, and program updates while managing workplans, milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, and budgets, building stakeholder relationships, and coaching junior team members

Deloitte's Cyber Defense & Resilience practice helps organizations address evolving threats across physical and digital environments. Within this practice, the Physical Security consulting team helps clients strengthen security operations, risk management, investigations, incident response, and security technology programs that protect employees, visitors, facilities, assets, and critical business services. The team brings together strategic advisory, transformation, and implementation support to help clients build practical, integrated, and resilient security capabilities.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in security management, risk management, emergency management, criminal justice, engineering, homeland security, international relations, intelligence studies, public administration, infrastructure protection, or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years of combined experience in Global Security, Corporate Security, physical security, investigations, emergency management, or public-sector security
  • 7+ years of experience conducting physical security risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, threat evaluations, or gap assessments
  • Experience advising on or implementing physical security programs, including security operations, incident management, crisis response, business continuity support, or investigations
  • Experience with one or more of the following: physical security assessments; threat, vulnerability, or risk assessments; Global Security Operations Center activities or Global Security Operations Center technology; physical security technology; video management systems; access control systems; risk intelligence; mass communication systems; incident case management; or dispatching systems
  • Ability to travel up to 75%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred:
  • Experience supporting security operations in critical infrastructure, manufacturing, research, laboratory, healthcare, technology, consulting, military, or law enforcement environments
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), ISO 31000 Risk Manager, ISO 22301, or Certified Threat Manager (CTM) certification(s)
  • Experience leading or supporting a Global Security Operations Center, including incident management, threat monitoring, intelligence reporting, crisis communications, alarm response, or security technology integration
  • Experience with perimeter security, facial recognition, facial analytics, integrated security platforms, or defense-in-depth security strategies
  • Experience supporting security risk management, investigations, crisis management, emergency response, or business continuity activities, including development of policies, standards, plans, playbooks, protocols, procedures, escalation criteria, incident documentation, program improvements, or coordination of security suppliers, consultants, physical security system integrators, and contract security providers
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $134,500 to $265,100.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
