Responsibilities

Peraton seeks a Cyber Operations Data Steward to support DCDC/USCYBERCOM with Caspian and Joint Cyber Runtime Stack-Data (JCRS-D) integration efforts and ensure full DAO compliance across specific data management functions.

Location: Fort Meade, MD.
  • Perform data preparation, transformation, and quality assurance
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and interoperability.
  • Conduct exploratory and diagnostic analyses to reveal trends, correlations, and anomalies relevant to cyber defense operations.
  • Develop and maintain autonomous and interactive visualizations that enable commanders, analysts, and operators to understand risk, readiness, and mission impact.
  • Establish governance frameworks to align platform usage with organizational policies and ensure all datasets and tools comply with cybersecurity standards and legal regulations.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD. Will consider Associate +10 years or HS +12 years of experience
  • Experience with data quality tools and methods
  • Knowledge of data profiling and validation
  • SQL and data analysis skills
  • Understanding of metadata management
  • Attention to detail
  • U.S.Citizenship required
  • DoD TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI clearance

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Data Steward (CDS) or other data quality certification
  • Familiarity with Data Stewardship Body of Knowledge (DSBOK)
  • 8 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management or a related field


Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
