Enterprise Services Customs Operations (ESCO) is looking for a Customs Continuous Improvement Lead to plan, organize, and execute day0to0day operations in a fast0paced, highly regulated export/import environment. This role leads ESCO0s continuous improvement program by deploying innovative, compliant, and technology0enabled solutions that support efficient Global Trade operations and ensure 2compliance at the speed of business.2
The Lead serves as the organization0s focal point for procedure management, controls monitoring, and corrective action governance across Customs and Global Trade processes. This role reports to the ESCO Sr Manager, Controls & Regulatory Management.
The following position is to join our RTX Corporate Enterprise Services team:
What You Will Do
- Determines assessment and controls organizational objectives, provide strategic guidance for Customs import and export declaration controls monitoring for desired results.
- Implement and oversee clear customs process documentation, aligning stakeholders to achieve results.
- Collaborate with other members of the organization to verify compliance and adherence to released company-wide policies and procedures.
- Leverage Trade Regulation expertise, knowledge of regulators0 intent, and understanding of RTX0s core business processes to ensure controls and recommended corrective actions yield a balanced risk portfolio.
- Develop and deliver training.
- Identify and report any potential violations of trade compliance laws and compliance violations and any incidents involving significant weaknesses in processes or procedures.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 8 years prior relevant Customs and/or Global Trade experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
- Licensed Customs Broker / Certified Customs Specialist / or demonstrated experience in these areas.
- Experience in CFR19 U.S. Customs regulations with experience in any of these areas; HS Classification, Free Trade Agreement qualification, Customs Valuations, Country of Origin determination.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Master0Degree in International Business or related
- Trade Compliance or Licensing Experience
- Project management experience
- Microsoft Office applications, SAP GTS, ITCS , RGEMS, other Trade Tools
- Time management, prioritization, and organizational skills; ability to prioritize among demanding and sometimes conflicting requirements.
- Strong verbal and persuasive writing skills.
- Strong investigative skills with the ability to manage, respond efficiently and effectively to time-critical issues with competing / conflicting priorities.
- Self-starter who can develop effective networks with internal and external customers.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
