Customer Service Management - Field Service Representative (Lead Military FSR, F103/CFM56)

This position is part of ourField Services and Maintenanceorganization supporting military customers operatingcommercial-derivative military engine programs, including (but not limited to)F103 and CFM56. The role is based inMaryland (Other MD, US)and provides on-site customer support, interfacing directly with customer maintenance teams and GE Aerospace engineering and factory organizations to deliver contractual and business objectives.
Role Overview
TheLead Military Field Service Representative (FSR)provideson-site technical assistanceto military organizations to meet both contractual commitments and business objectives. Acting as a key liaison between the customer and GE Aerospace engineering and factory teams, the FSR supports theoverhaul, management, repair, installation, and maintenanceof assigned propulsion system programs.
This role requires strong hands-on technical capability, disciplined troubleshooting, and the ability to coach and influence customer teams to improve maintenance effectiveness, readiness outcomes, and overall customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Interpretation & Guidance: Interpret technical data and instructions to support maintenance and troubleshooting execution. Tooling & Handling Support: Provide technical assistance identifying special tools and proper use of tooling and handling equipment. Training & Knowledge Transfer: Recommend and develop local, informal training in support of maintenance and troubleshooting tasks; identify training gaps and needs. Fault Analysis & Troubleshooting: Review reported malfunctions, assist with fault isolation and root cause analysis, and provide support to resolve maintenance issues. Maintenance Effectiveness Review: Evaluate effectiveness of maintenance actions to improve practices and reduce repeat issues. Logistics & Planning Support: Assist the customer with logistics tasks including work scope reviews, maintenance scheduling, data recording, and hardware tracking/availability. Analytical Problem Solving: Apply analytical tools to support root cause analysis, issue resolution, and trend identification to improve reliability and maintenance performance. Hands-On Best Practices: Demonstrate best methods for disassembly, repair, and assembly of engines and engine components, with strong focus on safety and quality. Customer-Liaison Responsibilities: Serve as primary liaison between customer and GE Aerospace personnel for maintenance, logistics, and operational task coordination.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
OR a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of4 years of experiencein a field service / maintenance position as a Military Field Service Representative
Minimum of3 yearsof field maintenance, modification, and repair experience on propulsion system products
Additionally, candidates must be highly mobile to meet the needs of the customer, program and the business. Candidates also must currently possess or provide verified evidence to achieve a YW Level of USG Clearance as this position supports a highly classified program.
Additional Information
The base pay range for this position is $110,000.00 - $146,300.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidates experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan.
