About The Position

The Customer Programs Integration Manager serves as the voice of the customer across Ameren Missouri's portfolio of customer energy solutions. By leveraging customer insights, market intelligence, program results, and stakeholder feedback, this role helps identify opportunities, inform program development, and drive customer-centered business decisions across the department.

Working across program teams and business partners, the position translates customer and market insights into actionable recommendations that improve customer outcomes and business performance. The role supports innovation and portfolio growth across areas such as beneficial electrification, demand-side management, distributed energy resources, grid modernization, and emerging technologies.

Through alignment of customer needs and business objectives, the Customer Programs Integration Manager advances scalable solutions that improve program effectiveness, strengthen customer relationships, and support Ameren Missouri's operational, regulatory, and business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the voice of the customer across a customer-facing energy programs portfolio, developing a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and emerging opportunities to identify opportunities and inform program design, enhancements, and offerings.


  • Lead the department's customer intelligence program, establishing processes, tools, and capabilities to collect, synthesize, and share customer, market, and industry intelligence.


  • Foster a customer-informed culture by actively communicating key findings across the department to strengthen customer-centered decision-making and program development.


  • Translate intelligence into action by informing program enhancements, customer engagement approaches, communications, new offerings, and portfolio priorities to deliver a consistent and customer-centered experience.


  • Drive a coordinated customer experience across the portfolio by aligning customer journeys, messaging, outreach, and cross-functional activities to deliver a consistent and customer-centered experience.


  • Maintain a portfolio-wide view of customer engagement and communications, partnering across programs to align messaging, optimize outreach timing, and deliver a more cohesive customer experience.


  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for portfolio growth and innovation, including beneficial electrification, distributed energy resources, grid modernization, emerging technologies, and other customer-focused energy solutions.


  • Monitor customer, operational, and program effectiveness metrics to identify improvement opportunities, support business cases and recommendations, and enhance customer outcomes.


  • Lead customer-focused initiatives and special projects that improve program effectiveness, customer experience, and portfolio outcomes.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited University is required and seven or more years of professional experience in customer insights, market intelligence, operations, consultative services, communications, analytics, general business, or a related field; or advanced degree with five or more years of professional experience.


  • Three or more years of project management experience required.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence without direct authority, and drive results.


  • Experience evaluating customer needs and translating complex business challenges into practical solutions.


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to assess opportunities, risks, and tradeoffs.


  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.


  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with customers, business partners, and internal stakeholders.


  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment.


  • Demonstrated ability to balance short-term priorities with long-term objectives, making timely decisions that consider broader business impacts and support sustainable outcomes.


  • Experience working with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and customer data repositories (e.g., Salesforce) to analyze customer engagement, program participation, and customer feedback.


  • Foundational understanding of the energy and utility industry.


In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Proven ability to synthesize disparate data sources into a clear, cohesive perspective that informs decision-making and drives results.


  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

Compensation Range:
$111,100.00 - $172,200.00

At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
