The Analyst Insights Categories will support the execution of the go-to-market strategy and process. In this role, you will support the definition of the channel GTM strategies, support the execution plans, be responsible for sales reporting, analyze market insights, and build strong relationships with colleagues and partners. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the commercial team has the tools needed to execute the category strategy with success.
- Achieve annual sales and profit budgets.
- Manage data governance (Segmentation, codification) in order to maintain databases.
- Builds analyzes to support category reviews and strategic initiatives. Easily juggles different data sources, identifies business opportunities and provide the necessary insight to build a compelling case to influence the change.
- Sees to the execution of pricing, promotions, merchandising and assortment recommendations through an in-depth understanding of the market, MAPPS strategies and customer needs.
- Works closely with the commercial team to optimize profitability and category growth.
- Acts as an analytical coach by supporting the development of account managers on tools and best practices for using customer and consumer data.
- Support the development of tools dedicated to sales teams.
- Act as communications support between the marketing and sales teams to make an initial feasibility filter of an opportunity.
- Uniformly communicates sales information (Launch, Discontinuation, Delisting).
- Develops a solid internal business relationship with the different departments (S&OP, Marketing, Sales).

- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a relevant field required.
- Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in customer insights or category required.
- Experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in French and English (English required to work with colleagues and clients in other Canadian provinces).
