Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Customer Engagement Representative in our Linthicum, MD office in support of our Department of Defense (DoD) customer as part of a highly talented, highly motivated, and high-performing team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of cyber investigations, digital forensics, cyber threat analysis, and mission support in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will contribute to protecting national security interests by leveraging technical expertise, analytical skills, and innovative problem-solving to address complex cyber challenges.

The Customer Engagement Representative will serve as the primary operational liaison between the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) partners and our Department of Defense (DoD) customer. The role involves supporting the onboarding, communication, engagement and overall relationship management with DIB partners, ensuring that partners have access to relevant information, resources, and training to support their cybersecurity efforts. This position requires a highly organized, proactive individual with strong communication and technical skills to manage partner relationships and support various outreach initiatives.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates degree and 10+ years of experience; OR Bachelor27s degree and 8+ years of experience; OR Master27s Degree and 6+ years of experience; OR 3+ years with PhD. However, four (4) years of additional relevant experience or specialized training may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor27s degree.
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Extensive experience in customer engagement, partner relationship management, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, preferably Salesforce.

  • Experience with creating marketing and outreach materials, including infographics and social media content.

  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills to manage user accounts and access to systems.

  • Proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools to track and present engagement metrics.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience planning and facilitating events, both in-person and virtual.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with government or defense-related organizations.

  • Familiarity with the Defense Industrial Base.

  • Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and terminology.

Target Salary Range$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual27s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
