What You'll Do:As a Customer Delivery Architect - Wireless to support Service Provider and Enterprise accounts in the Cisco Customer Experience Team:
Responsible for the delivery of Wireless Planning, Design, Implementation & Optimization Services to Cisco's major accounts. Performs architectural planning and design along with configuration and integration support. Also provides operational support for complex, wireless network deployments. Identify & document design/architecture best practices for global Cisco Services adoption.
Your specific responsibilities will include:Responsible for the delivery of Wireless Planning, Design, Implementation & Optimization Services to Cisco's major accounts. Performs architectural planning and design along with configuration and integration support. Also provides operational support for complex, wireless network deployments. Identify & document design/architecture best practices for global Cisco Services adoption.
Who you'll work with:You will work with all levels of Customer Experience team, directly with customer's support team and with the Cisco TAC support infrastructure, development engineering and sales teams. You will participate in complex network design, performance engineering, troubleshooting and problem resolution for WLAN related projects.
Minimum requirements:- Education & General Experience: Typically requires a BSEE/CS or equivalent plus 5-10 years of experience in a network engineering or telecommunications support environment (MS strongly preferred), along with strong technical account management skills.
- Wireless & RF Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Wireless technology-specifically Catalyst IOS XE WLC units including virtual appliances-combined with RF Design, Survey/Engineering, and troubleshooting skills using either Ekahau or Hamina.
- Network Design & Deployment: IP Network Design skills, a working understanding of successfully deploying Cisco Spaces within a customer environment, and experience designing and deploying key WLAN applications (Voice over WLAN, Context-Aware Location-Based Services, and Wireless Guest Access).
- Security & Troubleshooting: Thorough understanding of WLAN security and network management (including ISE and/or RADIUS services), coupled with expert-level inter-networking troubleshooting in a large-scale network environment.

TRAVEL (25%) : Must be available to travel to on-site customer meetings and site specific troubleshooting.
