Qualifications

• Current ARRT(R) and State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology (CRT) required.
• ARRT (CT) certification or applicable State CT license must be obtained as per RadNet policy.
• Completion of an accredited Radiology program is mandatory.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is essential.
• Venipuncture certification preferred, with a timeframe for obtaining it if not held.
• Competence in learning specialized CT equipment operation is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing patients for CT exams and explain procedures professionally.
• Learn proper imaging techniques and safety procedures under supervision.
• Observe and assist with administering contrast media after certification and supervision requirements are met.
• Support technologists with image processing, quality assurance, and PACS transmission.
• Maintain patient confidentiality adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
• Participate in educational and training activities to enhance competency in CT imaging.
• Ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked for patient procedures.
• Provide compassionate patient care throughout the imaging process.
• Complete assigned administrative tasks and data entry efficiently.
