Full Job Description
Position Summary
In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, this position organizes and coordinates work of a technical and professional nature. Responsible for Quality Control and may recommend changes in procedures. Works in accordance with the Hospital and departmental policies.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days - 07:00 to 15:00, 08:00 to 16:00, 08:30 to 16:30, 10:00 to 18:00

Qualfications
• Graduation from an approved radiology technology program and registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.
• 3 years experience in C.T. scanning.
• Holder of BCIT C.T. Certificate or equivalent.

Skills and Abilities:
• Supervises assigned Radiological Technologists.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with patients, departmental, medical and nursing staff and outside agencies; liaises with radiologists for clinical direction and coordinates relevant activities with Chief Technologist.
• Organizational, supervisory and communication skills. Demonstrated proficiency in all C.T. scanning routines. Ability to keep abreast of technological developments in the field to ensure high standards of patient care.
