Full Job Description
In this role, the successful candidate’s principal responsibility will be to deliver best-in-class Clinical Education on Siemens CT imaging systems and components through expert clinical training delivered in person and/or through remote or virtual means. This position fosters customer excellence and represents Siemens Healthineers and Clinical Education with professionalism. The candidate will work with the respective modality team members to continually develop clinically relevant knowledge and expertise to ensure a positive customer experience.

The CT Clinical Education Specialist may also be required to support Education and Workforce Solutions deliverables, including Siemens FlexForce™ engagements such as FlexForce™ Tech and FlexForce™ Coach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel: This remote position requires ≥ 95% travel, generally on weekdays, with two to four overnight stays per week. Travel may extend beyond the geography of the job posting. Occasionally, but infrequently, requests for out-of-scope hours or weekend support may occur.
  • Preparation: Prepare and gather necessary regulatory-approved documentation for end-user training and contribute to the creation, revision, and maintenance of tangible education materials and offerings.
  • Communication: Engage in effective and professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Training Delivery: Conduct clinical training in person and/or through remote or virtual means to educate staff [technologists, physicians, physicists, etc.] on how to use Siemens equipment safely and effectively for newly installed systems, upgraded software/hardware features, and ongoing or remedial training as needed.
  • Administrative Tasks: Independently manage and complete regulatory and core process requirements in accordance with policy, including timecards, travel booking, expense reporting and reconciliation, vendor credentialing, training in-service reports, and other assigned administrative responsibilities.
  • Project & Time Management: As a remote employee, demonstrate initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently and self-govern while managing time, priorities, projects, travel, and administrative responsibilities.
  • Coordinate and facilitate training activities that result in excellent clinical outcomes with a positive impact on patient care, workflow, and productivity.
  • Proficiency: Maintaining clinical and technical competency through continued education and participation in Siemens training programs.

Experience/Requirements

  • Valid ARRT Certification/Licensure in Computed Tomography – required, BA or BS - preferred
  • 3+ years of recent clinical CT scanning on contemporary Siemens CT equipment and software - required
  • 5+ years of clinical CT scanning experience - preferred
  • Proficiency in routine CT imaging on contemporary Siemens CT systems - required
  • Proficiency in Cardiac CT [CaSc, CCTA, TAVR, etc.], Dual Energy CT, CT Intervention, Neuro Perfusion, Pediatric Imaging, syngo.via post-processing - preferred
  • Must reside within one hour of the airport associated with the posted position - required
  • Teaching experience - preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Reliable high-speed home internet access to support completion of required Siemens training, participation in virtual meetings and collaboration activities, and facilitation of customer-facing remote education sessions as assigned.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • PC proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)

The base pay range for this position is:

$74,350 - $102,234

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.

Position must have full access to Siemens Healthineers' client sites to perform the essential functions of this position. Unless prohibited by law, position must meet all Vendor Credentialing requirements necessary to have full client access and must continue to meet those requirements during the course of employment in this position.
