Job DescriptionACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL IS REQUIREDTurn massive, complex datasets into actionable intelligence! In this role, you will sit at the intersection of network intelligence, big data engineering, and operational content development. You'll leverage Python and Apache Spark to interrogate enterprise-scale datasets, dissect complex protocol behaviors, and transform raw network telemetry into high-value operational content. The annual base salary range for this role is $154,000-$182,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
Required Skills- Big Data Processing: Demonstrated hands-on experience manipulating and analyzing large-scale datasets using Apache Spark.
- Python Development: Strong, production-level proficiency in Python for data manipulation, analytics generation, and automation.
- Network & Protocol Analysis: Deep technical understanding of network communications, packet analysis, and core internet protocols.
- Large-Scale Data Handling: Comfortability operating in high-volume, distributed data environments with complex schemas.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, PLUS
7+ years of professional experience in cyber operations, network analysis, or data engineering OR
Master's Degree in a related field, PLUS
5+ years of relevant professional experience OR
High School Diploma / GED, PLUS
11+ years of specialized technical experience in lieu of a degree.
Desired SkillsCustomer Systems & Tooling: Direct familiarity with customer-specific dataflow architectures, processing frameworks, and domain-specific tools.
ETL & Data Pipeline Optimization: Hands-on experience constructing, maintaining, and optimizing ETL streams and messaging systems.
Threat & Telemetry Analytics: Experience building custom detection rules or behavioral signatures based on network traffic metadata.
Modern Engineering Practices: Familiarity with version control tools (Git), containerized environments (Docker), and Agile workflows.
