This position works closely with traders, counterparties, pipeline operators, producers, refiners, and internal operations teams. In addition to primary responsibility for diluent scheduling, the role will provide backup support for Gunvor's Canadian crude oil scheduling activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage nominations, confirmations, inventory tracking, and movement reconciliation across multiple transportation systems.
  • Schedule imported C5 and other diluent streams into Canada through key cross-border and Canadian pipeline networks.
  • Coordinate transportation movements on:
    • Explorer Pipeline
    • Enterprise Teppco Pipeline
    • Cochin Pipeline
    • Southern Lights Pipeline
    • Peace Pipeline System
    • Enbridge CRW
    • Keyera Fort Saskatchewan Pipeline
    • Additional feeder, hub, terminal, and storage assets as required
  • Monitor transportation constraints, apportionment, outages, and operational disruptions while developing contingency plans to minimize impacts.
  • Maintain accurate inventory positions and supply-demand balances.
  • Reconcile scheduled movements against actual receipts and deliveries.
  • Work closely with traders to ensure commercial deals are accurately reflected in scheduling and logistics systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve transportation efficiency, reduce logistics costs, and support trading optimization initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with pipeline operators, counterparties, terminals, producers, and refiners.
  • Support month-end close processes, reporting requirements, and logistics performance tracking.
  • Provide backup scheduling support for Canadian crude oil transportation and logistics activities.
  • Participate in on-call coverage and respond to operational issues outside of standard business hours when required.
