As a Regional Sales Manager, you will drive strategic growth, empower your field team and ensure exceptional commercial and clinical execution across your region.
Work model, sponsorship, relocation:This is a field-based remote role requiring significant travel throughout the assigned region. The position requires regular in-person engagement with customers and field team members. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.
Your responsibilities will include:- Ensure the assigned region meets or exceeds sales and profitability objectives by implementing data-driven strategies aligned with company revenue goals.
- Lead, coach and support sales representatives, clinical specialists and field personnel to achieve performance targets and professional growth.
- Analyze territory opportunities, establish sales objectives and guide the team in achieving annual plans through accountability and clear execution.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers while communicating market dynamics and competitive trends to internal stakeholders.
- Support the development and execution of local marketing initiatives, sales promotions, training programs and special projects in collaboration with sales support and marketing teams.
- Monitor sales performance and adjust plans accordingly through regular reviews, documentation and performance analysis.
- Integrate individual territory strategies into a cohesive regional sales plan and guide the team through sales process coaching and disciplined field execution.
- Lead quarterly business reviews and profit-and-loss assessments; manage resources and budgets to drive operational efficiency.
- Identify and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including economic buyers, to expand access and close business.
- Facilitate product bundling and value-added service offerings to support negotiations and create holistic solutions for complex customer needs.
- Model exceptional selling skills in customer-facing settings and mentor team members on best practices without taking over the sales process.
- Drive clinical and technical excellence by maintaining deep knowledge of the entire CRM portfolio and competitive differentiation.
- Actively support and participate in customer education events, forums and industry-sponsored engagements to build brand visibility and drive customer loyalty.
- Spend at least 70% of time in the field coaching representatives, building relationships and understanding local customer needs.
- Demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by ensuring compliance with the Quality Policy and all documented processes and procedures.
Required qualifications:- Minimum of a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Minimum of 7 years' related experience with strong clinical, technical and organizational skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive and dynamic environment.
Preferred qualifications:- Advanced degree, such as an MBA or clinical master's degree.
- Minimum of 3 years' medical device sales leadership experience.
- People leadership experience.
- Experience in interventional cardiology, electrophysiology or cardiac rhythm management.

The anticipated annualized base amount or range for this full time position will be
$90,000.00, plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives) as well as the value of core and optional benefits offered at BSC, which can be reviewed at www.bscbenefitsconnect.com. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
