The JobArrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is looking for experienced
Critical Care Registered Nurses who will be assigned to the
Trauma Unit. This position will provide care to critically injured patients and will plan, evaluate, and implement patient care according to accepted standards of practice.
The current vacancy is for
Night Shift: 7:00PM - 7:30AM. The resulting eligible list may be used to fill additional vacancies as they occur.
Official County Title: Specialty Care Registered Nurse Critical Care. For more information, refer to the County's job description.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENTPre-employment Process: Applicants selected for these positions must pass a background investigation, drug test, verification of employment history and education.
Availability: ARMC is a twenty-four hour facility; candidates must indicate availability for all shifts to be considered. Rotating weekend and holiday coverage may be required.
Certifications: Additional certifications may be required depending on the needs of the department.

Minimum RequirementsExperience: One (1) year of full-time equivalent experience as a licensed registered nurse.
Licenses and Certifications: - Must possess and maintain Registered Nurse licensure with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing.
- Must possess and maintain current Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
At time of application:- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- PALS Certification issued by the American Heart Association
Within six (6) months of hire:- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification issued by ARMC
- Advanced Trauma Care Nursing
Desired QualificationsCandidates possessing a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and experience in a Trauma Unit is desired.
