Job DescriptionWe are seeking an exceptional and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dedicated Critical Care team. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of patients and families during some of their most vulnerable moments while practicing alongside a collaborative and highly skilled multidisciplinary team
You Can Expect• 13 shifts per month with opportunities to pick up additional shifts
• Collaborative, team-based practice environment

• Opportunity to work closely with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams
What You'll Do• Round on critically ill patients in the ICU
• Perform admissions and consultations
• Manage medications and treatment plans
Perform procedures including:
- Central line placement
- Arterial line placement
- Intubation
- Chest tube placement
- Thoracentesis
- Lumbar puncture
- Bronchoscopy
- Paracentesis

QualificationsRequired Education: Masters Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant School
Required Certifications and Licensures: Current licensure by the State of Virginia as a Physician Assistant ACLS (required only for LFM)
