Overview

Lovelace Medical Center and Heart Hospital are searching for a Nocturnist Critical Care / ICU Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their established, employed Hospital Medicine team in Albuquerque, NM. Enjoy an excellent work/life balance while working alongside an experienced and collaborative team in a dynamic hospital-based environment.

Required:
  • Completion of applicable advanced practice training program, ACLS and BLS certification, ability to obtain state licensure
  • Skills: PICC Line, Catheters and Intubation

Preferred: Experience with Shock Program patients and LVAD patients

  • Join an established team of 8 physicians, 6 Nurse Practitioners, and 2 Physician Assistants
  • Hospital-employed full-time opportunity
  • Both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
  • 7 on / 7 off schedule providing strong work-life balance - Nocturnist Shift
  • No call requirement when off service
  • Expected patient volume includes a 20-patient unit at Lovelace Medical Center and a 16-patient unit at Heart Hospital
  • Responsibilities may include patient assessment and management, procedures, admissions, rounding, and coordinating care with physicians and clinical teams
  • Required procedural experience includes PICC line placement, catheter management, and intubation
