OVERVIEW: The SOCNORTH Crisis Response Team Program Manager will support operations, training, and compliance Support in USNORTHCOM AOR an is a key enabler for SOCNORTH Current Operations in support of National mission priorities.

GENERAL DUTIES:
  • Plan, coordinate, seek resourcing for and facilitate the execution of the SOCNORTH Crisis Response Team (CRT) activities in the USNORTHCOM AOR; assist the SOCNORTH Current Operations (CUOPS) Division, other members of SOCNORTH Operations Directorate and all SOCNORTH directorates, Higher Headquarters (HHQ) and supporting government agencies with understanding their roles and responsibilities in the Crisis Response in the AOR; coordinate with USSOCOM and forecast formal training requirements for SOCNORTH personnel; develop and maintain network relationships with points of contact across the USNORTHCOM supporting the SOCNORTH Crisis Response mission area and CRT program.
  • The contractor will be responsible for day-to-day program management and associated training, and currency of SOCNORTH J-3 CRT.
  • The contractor will track, update and maintain currency of the SOCNORTH CRT Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and associated Campaign Support Order appendix. Ensure all relevant USNORTHCOM, USSOCOM and applicable US Government directives and requirements are maintained and SOCNORTH compliance with all requirements.
  • The contractor will track, update and maintain currency of the SOCNORTH CRT equipment density list and inventory required for Crisis Response operations, training and exercise support.
  • The Contractor shall have demonstrated experience in managing and battle tracking operations for Counter Terrorism (CT), Counter Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD), Countering Transnational Criminal Organizations (CTOC), Theater Security Cooperation (TSC), Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA), and Homeland Defense (HD).
  • In coordination with USNORTHCOM, the contractor shall serve as principal support for the USNORTHCOM Situational Awareness Team (NSAT) planning, coordination, resourcing and execution for operations, training and exercises in the USNORTHCOM AOR.
  • In support of the CUOPS Division, build and maintain an enduring 24/7 CRT posture and associated procedures "as needed" for Crisis Response operations, to include National Special Security Events (NSSE).
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and management of required training for the SOCNORTH Battle Staff and personnel assigned to serve in CRT positions.
  • Provide support for up to six exercises and contingency operations annually that are approximately four days in duration each. These events will necessitate flexibility with work hours (i.e. shift work or workdays in excess of eight hours).
  • The Contractor shall provide operational, analytical, and administrative support to the Current Operations (CUOPS) Division in support of both crisis response and steady-state operations. Tasks shall include, but are not limited to: preparing for and supporting battle rhythm events; developing and delivering briefings; tracking the movement and status of personnel; maintaining continuous situational awareness of deployed SOCNORTH personnel; and executing other CUOPS-related duties as directed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of Special Operations Forces (SOF) experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in an operations position within a Joint environment OR experience working in a Tactical Operations Center (TOC) at an O-6 level command or higher.
  • Demonstrated experience serving on a Joint Battle staff
  • Demonstrated staff experience in Crisis Action Planning (CAP) and the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP)
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and battle tracking operations for Counter Terrorism (CT), Counter Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD), Countering Transnational Criminal Organizations (CTOC), Theater Security Cooperation (TSC), Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA), and Homeland Defense (HD).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Prior experience as a member of a Crisis Response Team or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting operations at a Theater Special Operations Command (TSOC) or Combatant Command (COCOM) level.

CLEARANCE:
  • Top Secret Clearance required

Salary Description

$128,000 to $161,000
