Responsibilities

As aCrisis Response RN,youllsupport high-acuity areas, tofacilitatetimelyinterventions, patient stabilization, and staff development.

  • Respond to patients in clinical crisis and lead stabilization efforts untilappropriate careplacement is achieved
  • Collaborate with care teams to assess complex cases while guiding and coordinating clinical decision-making
  • Assistwithmonitoredpatient transports and escalation of care across critical units
  • Mentor and educate staff on evolving processes, protocols, and high-acuity patient management 1 serving as a resource for clinical best practice

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE)or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificaterequired
  • 2 years of nursing experience of which at least 1 year in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Emergency Department required

Licenses and Certifications

  • RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of Californiarequired
  • BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA)required
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificationrequired
  • PALS - Pediatric Advance Life Support Certificationrequiredwithin180 daysof hire or transfer into position
  • One of the following isrequiredwithin180 daysof hire or transfer into position
    • CCRN - Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse
    • CEN - Certified Emergency Nurse
    • NATIONAL - National Certification related to specialty and applicable to role
