As a full-time Credit Union Software Developer with Industrial Credit Union, you'll be helping to build and develop applications from the ground up to enhance digital experiences for employees and members. As our Credit Union Software Developer, you'll earn $73,500 - $110,300/year (based on experience) and enjoy fantastic benefits like:

You'll work Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm with the ability to work a hybrid remote schedule. You'll need to live in Whatcom or Skagit counties and spend time in office weekly for meetings and team collaboration.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline OR 2+ years of work experience as a developer, engineer, or similar position
  • Solid understanding of programming fundamentals (functions, loops, basic object-oriented concepts, etc.)
  • Basic Python proficiency
  • Experience writing queries against a database and building simple UIs (class/personal/internship experience is acceptable)
  • Basic understanding of calling and building APIs that follow REST principles
  • Ability to read, debug, and test existing code
  • Honest, reliable, and flexible mentality
  • Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Eagerness to dive in, learn new systems, and continuously improve

The following would be preferred:
  • Enterprise-scale experience with SQL/DB2
  • Experience using an ORM (Django ORM, Entity Framework, Dapper, etc.) to interact with a database
  • Experience with orchestration platforms like Airflow
