Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report on the Bank's adherence to the Community Reinvestment Act.
  • Evaluate the Bank's responsiveness to the credit needs of low-to-moderate income areas.
  • Collaborate with various Bank departments to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Prepare educational materials for Bank staff on community reinvestment concepts.
  • Engage with regulators on compliance matters and reporting requirements.

Full Job Description
The CRA Officer is responsible for monitoring the Bank's performance and reporting the Bank's adherence to the regulatory provisions and intent of the Community Reinvestment Act, successfully demonstrating the Bank's responsiveness to the deposit and credit needs of low-to-moderate income individuals and geographies within the Bank's Assessment Areas.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum five years of experience in community reinvestment in banking and/or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the Community Reinvestment Act and regulatory requirements.
  • Extensive knowledge of bank regulations, operations, lending and accounting principles.
  • Advanced written, oral, and interpersonal skills with ability to prepare and present technical presentations and educate Bank staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to actively and effectively interact with the Bank's regulators and management in other areas of the Bank.
  • Strong collaboration and cooperation skills.
  • Experience and good judgment to plan and accomplish goals with a high degree of creativity and autonomy expected.
