Hiring Range: $88,278 - $121,824.00

Job Duties

This position will supervise, monitor, and ensure compliance with agency and department policies and procedures related to treatment provided by clinical staff and treatment teams. In addition, this position will assess and monitor the quality of programs/services provided to residents.

Minimum Qualifications
• Knowledge of human behavior and performance, individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders.
• Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunctions and for career counseling and guidance.
• Skill/Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and the general public both verbally and in writing; use good judgement; interpret and apply knowledge of policies and procedures in the area of personnel management; train and supervise staff; and administer CPR.
• Ability to interpret and apply knowledge of policies and procedures in the area of personnel management and monitoring of service delivery.
• Basic experience in Microsoft Office applications.
• Available to work alternate work schedules (nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
• Demonstrated knowledge and skill in management and supervisory techniques and practices.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with residents, clinical staff, professional staff, and administrative staff at all levels. Interact in a professional and therapeutic manner with families or community agencies.
• Monitor, control, and minimize the use of overtime through roster management.
Required Virginia Licensure as Clinical Social Worker, Clinical Psychologist or professional counselor

Additional Considerations
• Virginia licensure as LCSW strongly preferred
• Experience working with inpatient or residential mental health population preferred
• Experience working with forensic mental health population preferred
