Position Summary This position administers and supervises the security program for the institution. This position plans security program changes, directs assignment of subordinate staff, and recommends security policy to the Warden.
Salary Information This position is in pay schedule/range 81-02 with an annual salary of
$104000 - $121742, plus excellent benefits. Pay on appointment for current state employees may vary according to the applicable pay transaction provisions of the Compensation Plan, Wisconsin Administrative Code, and statutes. A 2-year Career Executive trial period is required.

This position is NOT eligible to work remotely. Qualifications Minimally qualified applicants will have experience: - Developing, implementing, and monitoring policies and procedures for a 24/7 operation
- Supervising staff (e.g. hiring, training, assigning and directing work, performance evaluations, etc.)
- Directing, implementing, and evaluating security standards
In addition to the Acceptable, well qualified applicant will have experience in: - Investigating staff and/or inmate misconduct allegations
- Working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team in a correctional setting
