Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in New Hampshire.
• Minimum three years of nursing experience, preferably in acute care, ICU, or emergency settings.
• Experience handling complex medical conditions, including mental health and substance abuse disorders.
• Familiarity with correctional healthcare protocols and regulations is preferred.
• Ability to work overnight shifts and weekends, including holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality care to inmates under the direction of the Medical Coordinator.
• Utilize the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.
• Manage diverse health issues including chronic care, addiction, and mental health in a correctional setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address complex healthcare needs.
• Adapt nursing practices within the corrections environment, balancing security and health care requirements.
