Job Description (Summary of the Position)

The Corporate Trust Product Manager will provide hands-on U.S. Corporate Trust business and platform expertise across Corporate Trust deal administration, trust structures, legal document interpretation, workflow and control design, regulatory and compliance requirements, and also business/system requirements definition related to Trust Accounting , money movement and related processing services. The role will support product capability validation, platform modernization, implementation and migration programs, client workshops, and pre-sales solutioning for Corporate Trust and Trust accounting services clients.

Key Responsibilities and Role Expectations
• Lead Corporate Trust business discovery, requirement-gathering, process-mapping, workflow-analysis, and gap-assessment sessions with internal and client stakeholders.
• Translate operating-model requirements, legal-document obligations, regulatory requirements, and user workflows into system-design-ready business and functional requirements.
• Create and review BRDs, functional specifications, user stories, use cases, process flows, data and reporting requirements, control checklists, requirements traceability matrices, and UAT scenarios.
• Validate Corporate Trust product capabilities against trustee administration, deal structures, payments, documents, compliance, reporting, audit, and control requirements.
• Partner with Product Engineering, architecture, QA, operations, legal, compliance, and implementation teams to clarify requirements, validate developed capability, resolve functional gaps and defects, and support release readiness.
• Support client pursuits and implementation programs with practitioner-level expertise, demo inputs, industry operating-model guidance, and audit-safe requirement rationale.
• Provide business inputs for workflow automation, roles and entitlements, maker-checker controls, exception processing, compliance monitoring, document management, and operational-risk controls.
• Contribute reusable Corporate Trust assets, including requirement packs, demo scenarios, operating-model artifacts, business-test libraries, control matrices, and client-facing product evidence.

Qualifications: Required
• 15-25 years of overall experience, preferably including at least 10 years in Corporate Trust, trustee services, agency services, trust operations, or Corporate Trust platform/product implementation.
• Deep, hands-on knowledge of the Corporate Trust deal lifecycle, including new-deal onboarding, account setup, administration, ticklers, notices, payments, covenants, events, distributions, and exception handling.
• Strong understanding of bond/indenture trustee services, paying agent, registrar/transfer agent, escrow administration, loan agency, structured finance, CLO, ABS/MBS/CMBS, municipal and corporate debt, reinsurance trusts, and specialized trust structures.
• Ability to interpret trust agreements, indentures, escrow agreements, fiscal agency agreements, servicing agreements, and related legal documents to identify operational obligations, system rules, notifications, controls, and reporting needs.
• Experience with deal setup, party and role maintenance, account structures, principal/income segregation, money movement, waterfall and distribution rules, billings/fees, reconciliations, reporting, lifecycle events, and client-servicing workflows.
• Working knowledge of the Tru st Indenture Act, SEC-related trustee obligations, OCC/banking guidance, UCC considerations, state trust requirements, AML/KYC, OFAC, fiduciary controls, operational risk, audit evidence, and examination support.
• Ability to develop business and system requirements, workflows, validations, data requirements, reports, user stories, use cases, and traceability artifacts.
• Experience defining user roles, maker-checker controls, approvals, alerts, exceptions, audit trails, document-retention requirements, compliance-monitoring workflows, and control checkpoints.
• Experience supporting platform validation and UAT, including business-test-case preparation, requirement-coverage confirmation, and functional-gap identification.
• Hands-on exposure to Corporate Trust platform modernization, product implementation, conversion, migration, or workflow-automation programs. Experience with platforms such as FIS Global Plus, SEI/T3K, SS&C, internal trust platforms, or similar solutions is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder-management capability, and willingness to travel as required.

Qualifications: Preferred
• Experience with SDLC, Agile delivery, and product-backlog management.
• Experience in product software, SaaS/platform implementation, or financial-services technology product management.
• Experience supporting RFPs, product demonstrations, client workshops, gap assessments, demo scripts, and pre-sales solutioning.
• Experience with trust-platform data migration, source-to-target mapping, data cleansing, reconciliation, conversion validation, and cutover readiness.
• Exposure to ISO 20022, ACH, wire, SWIFT, check payments, message processing, and cash operations related to trust administration.
• Understanding of accounting interfaces, general-ledger integration, tax/reporting needs, and regulatory-reporting obligations.
• MBA, JD, CFA, CTFA, CTP, or a related financial-services or trust qualification is preferred.
