Senior Manager / Director, Corporate TaxPosition OverviewThe Corporate Tax Leader is responsible for overseeing income tax compliance, tax accounting, tax planning, audit support, and tax risk management for the organization. This highly visible role serves as a trusted advisor to leadership and business partners, providing technical guidance on complex tax matters, supporting strategic initiatives, and ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead corporate income tax compliance and reporting processes.
- Review tax returns, workpapers, calculations, and supporting documentation prepared internally or by external advisors.
- Oversee tax accounting and financial reporting in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Conduct tax research and prepare technical memoranda to support tax positions and business transactions.
- Manage tax audits, inquiries, notices, and other tax controversy matters.
- Coordinate tax payment processes and ensure compliance with filing and reporting requirements.
- Identify and evaluate tax planning opportunities to optimize the organization's tax position.
- Analyze the impact of legislative and regulatory changes on the business.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, Operations, and other business functions to support strategic initiatives and transactions.
- Develop and maintain effective tax controls, processes, and documentation.
- Monitor tax risks and provide recommendations to management on potential exposures and mitigation strategies.
Required QualificationsExperience- 8+ years of progressive corporate tax experience.
- Experience within a public accounting firm and/or corporate tax department.
- Demonstrated experience supporting complex organizations with multiple entities, business lines, or jurisdictions.
- Experience managing tax compliance, tax accounting, and tax planning responsibilities.
Education & Credentials- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
- CPA, Chartered Accountant (CA), or equivalent professional certification preferred.
- Advanced degree in Taxation or Accounting is a plus.
Technical Skills- Corporate income tax compliance and reporting.
- Tax accounting and provision processes.
- Knowledge of applicable accounting standards related to income taxes.

Compensation: $140,000 annually
Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
